What a migration agent website needs

Build trust, in the client's language

Choosing a migration agent is a high-stakes, high-trust decision, and a lot of your clients are searching in their first language. The website has to prove you're registered and credible, answer the specific visa question that brought them, and make booking a consultation simple - often across a language barrier. We build for exactly that.

  • MARN and registration front and centre Your MARN and registration details displayed clearly, so clients can check them.
  • Multilingual content Key pages available in the languages your clients actually search in, structured so search engines understand each one.
  • Visa-type pages A focused page per visa - skilled, partner, student, employer-sponsored - so you rank for the exact query and answer it fully.
  • Consultation booking Simple paid or free consult booking, with clear fees and process so there are no surprises.
  • Credibility and compliance Honest, guideline-aware copy and a professional structure that reassures a nervous applicant.

What the Code of Conduct means for a migration agent's website

Registered migration agents work under the Migration (Migration Agents Code of Conduct) Regulations 2021. A few of its sections matter for a website. Section numbers are given so you can read the source.

Showing your MARN

Section 25 covers the MARN (Migration Agents Registration Number). Under section 25(2), an agent must take all reasonable steps to make sure the MARN of at least one registered migration agent in the business appears on the business website, on its social media, and on any advertisement relating to the immigration assistance given by the registered agents in the business. Section 25(1) puts the MARN on correspondence and business cards as well.

What a website must not say

Section 26 says an agent must not state that they can procure a particular decision for a client under the migration law. An agent also must not state that their status as a registered migration agent involves a special or privileged relationship with any government official. False or misleading statements are out too.

A website should avoid lines like “visa approval guaranteed” or “registered agents get priority treatment”.

The Consumer Guide

Under section 38, a migration agent must not give immigration assistance to a client unless the client has been given a copy of the consumer guide. OMARA (the Office of the Migration Agents Registration Authority) publishes the Consumer Guide as a PDF.

How clients check you

Anyone can look up an agent on the OMARA Register of migration agents. We suggest linking to the register beside your MARN so a careful client can confirm it for themselves.

This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice. Check the Code itself or ask OMARA before relying on it.

Who a WA migration agent's website is talking to

Western Australia had 556 registered migration agents at 30 June 2026. That is 10.0% of the 5,581 registered across Australia, according to the OMARA Migration Agent Activity Report for January to June 2026.

At the 2021 Census, 32.2% of people in WA were born overseas, the highest share of any state (Australian Bureau of Statistics). The same Census found 18.7% of Western Australians use a language other than English at home. The most common were Mandarin (51,751 people), Italian (25,432), Vietnamese (22,763), Punjabi (20,613) and Cantonese (19,683), and the number of Punjabi speakers grew 327.7% from 2011 to 2021 (WA Office of Multicultural Interests, Census highlight report, February 2023).

Multilingual pages the way Google asks

Google Search Central says to use a separate URL for each language version and connect them with hreflang, a tag that tells Google which page is in which language. It also says to avoid choosing the language by cookies or browser settings, and to avoid automatic redirects based on a guessed language.

Full multilingual content is part of our Specialist build, from $1,500 inc. GST.

Migration agent websites - common questions

Can you build the site in multiple languages?
Yes. We can deliver your key pages in the languages your clients search in, structured with the right markup so each language version is found and understood by search engines - not just a translate button. We'll scope which languages matter most on the call.
Do you display my MARN and registration correctly?
Yes - your MARN and OMARA registration are displayed clearly, the way a careful client and the regulator expect. We keep the copy honest and guideline-aware throughout.
How much does a migration agent website cost?
$500 flat inc. GST for a complete five-page site. A specialist build with multiple visa-type pages and full multilingual content starts at $1,500, and Growth Pro runs a larger managed site for $297/month. All agreed in writing up front.
Do you work with agents outside Perth?
Yes - we're Perth-based and work with registered migration agents across WA, with in-person consultation where it's practical and video calls where it isn't.
What does the Code of Conduct require on a migration agent's website?
Section 25 of the Migration (Migration Agents Code of Conduct) Regulations 2021 says an agent must take all reasonable steps to ensure the MARN (Migration Agents Registration Number) of at least one registered migration agent in the business appears on the business website, its social media and any advertisement relating to the immigration assistance given by the registered agents in the business. Section 26 says an agent must not state that they can procure a particular decision for a client under the migration law, must not state that their status as a registered migration agent involves a special or privileged relationship with any government official, and must not make false or misleading statements. This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice. Check the Code or OMARA for the exact wording.
Can my website say I guarantee a visa?
No. Section 26 of the Migration (Migration Agents Code of Conduct) Regulations 2021 says a registered migration agent must not state that they can procure a particular decision for a client under the migration law. In plain English, a website cannot promise that a visa will be granted. This is a plain-English summary, not legal advice. Check the Code or OMARA for the exact wording.
Do you build websites for immigration agents and immigration lawyers too?
If you are a registered migration agent in WA, yes, whichever term your clients use to find you. This service is built for registered migration agents across WA, with MARN display, visa-type pages, multilingual content and consultation booking. We do not claim specialist knowledge of the rules for legal practices, so an immigration lawyer is best to call (08) 6288 0080 first and talk through what the site needs.
